We are a specialist Occupational Therapy clinic offering services to children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, Aspergers Syndrome, Global Developmental Delays, and/or Sensory-Motor difficulties, using the play-based DIR(R)/ Floortime(TM) framework. The primary focus is working with children between the ages of 0 to 12, with special emphasis on children in their early years (0-6 years). The practice is a registered provider for the FaHCSIA 'Helping Children with Autism' (HCWA) package. It is also a provider for Medicare and several Private Health Funds. The clinic is in Brisbane, centrally located in the suburb of Clayfield. It is run by Occupational Therapist Kylie Marquenie, who is an experienced and energetic clinician with a passion for helping children with special needs. The therapy environment is fully equipped for play-based therapy within a sensory gym. Sensory equipment includes sensory swings, spandex hammocks, ball pit, trampoline, and crash mats.
